Omdat hy stamhoof is in meer moderne tye, het hy nooit die ou geheime geleer nie. Wanneer hy die lug bestudeer, kon hy nie sê hoe die winter gaan wees nie.Nieteenstaande het hy besluit om dit veilig te speel en hy sê toe dat dit n koue winter gaan wees en hulle moet begin brandhout bymekaar maak ter voorbereiding. Hy is egter n praktiese man en na ’n paar dae kry hy ’n plan. Hy stap na n publieke telefoonhokkie by die nasionale pad, skakel die weerburo en vra: “Gaan die komende winter koud wees in die Kalahari?”"Ja dit lyk so” sê die een wat geantwoord het.Hy gaan terug na die stam en sê hulle moet nog meer hout bymekaar maak.’n Week later skakel hy weer die weerburo.”Lyk dit nog steeds na n baie koue winter?”"Ja, dit gaan baie koud wees.”Hy gaan terug en beveel hulle om elke stukkie hout wat hulle vind, op te tel.Na twee weke skakel hy weer.”Is julle heeltemal seker dat dit baie koud gaan wees?”"Absoluut”, kom die antwoord, “dit lyk al hoe meer na een van die koudste winters ooit.”"Wat maak julle so seker?”"Ons satelliet fotos wys die Boesmans maak verwoed hout bymekaar, en dis altyd n sekere teken.”

Easy Delicious Chocolate Cakes in Minutes

Try this recipe next time you bake! This is even better than the Chocolate Cake in a Mug (5 minutes). You can bake the perfect chocolate cake in the microwave within few minutes. So easy to make

Ingredients:

3 eggs separated
250 ml (120 g) Flour
10 ml Baking Powder
Pinch of Salt
60 ml (24 g) Cocoa Powder
125 ml Hot Water
60 ml Oil
220 ml (175 g) Sugar
5 ml Vanilla Essence

Method:

Stir, flour, baking powder and salt together.
Mix cocoa and hot water. Allow to cool.
Combine egg yolk, oil, sugar, vanilla essence and cocoa mix.
Add this cocoa mix to the dry ingredients.
Whip egg white till still and fold lightly into cocoa mixture.
Pour batter into 21 cm diameter microwave dish.
Microwave on medium high (80%) for 5 to 7 minutes (900 Watts) or 10 to 12 Minutes (700 Watts)
Let the cake cool down and decorate it as desired.

Sync Facebook Events With Google Calendar

In a few steps you see your Facebook Events in Google Calendar.

After you log into Facebook, go to Facebook Events

Click on Export Events and copy the URL (which you will use later). Keep the address of the URL to yourself!!!

Log into Google Calendar.

Click on Add, and then click on Add by URL

Paste the URL you copied from Facebook and click Add Calendar

Esta bom, that’s it!
You will see a notification at the top that it will be indexed by Google Calendar.

The Facebook Events URL will appear under Other Calendars.

Note:

You can also add single events, one by one, by opening the Facebook Event, and copy the Export link for the event.

Now your Google calendar will update automatically every time you accept or decline an event in Facebook.

Create and Share Google Calendars

One of the easiest way to create a calendar, is to create .CSV file in your spreadsheet programme.
For row headings you will type the following:

Create Row Headings

Cell A1 = Subject

Cell B1 = Start Date

Cell C1 = Start Time

Cell D1 = End Date

Cell E1 = End Time

Cell F1 = Location

Type in the details

Create new Google Calendar

Upload the .CSV file

Get your calendar id

Go to Google’s EventPublisher Guide to get URL

Share the URL with your friends

Printer – USB Device Not Recognised

Windows was whining today: “USB Device not recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it…”
After uninstalling and reinstalling the printer software it worked for a while and then again: USB Device not recognized, blah, blah, blah….
Tried to use a different USB port, cable, stop and start the print spooler, rebooted with printer off and so on… No luck.
And wallah, the solution:
Created another user, cancel the print, request a new print, but Windows did not want to delete the cancelled print job.
Solution, stop and start the Windows Print Spooler.
Go Start -> Run, Type cmd, click OK.
Type net stop “print spooler” and hit the Enter key
Wait a minute…
Type net start “print spooler” and hit the Enter key
Wait a minute and print something.

Alternatively you can open the Services dialog box.
Go Start, Run, type services.msc, click OK, or go to the Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services. Then Stop and Start the Print Spooler.

Logged off new user, logged backed into my user profile, deleted the new user. And now the printer is printing…

Today I really feel like shouting out: “Welcome to Microsoft Windows. How can I crash your computer today?”

For all of us who feel only the deepest love and affection for the way computers have enhanced our lives, read on.

‘If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon.’

GM’s Response:
1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash……..
Twice a day.

2. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a new car.

3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason. You would have to pull to the side of the road, close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows before you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this.

4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.

5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and twice as easy to drive – but would run on only five percent of the roads.

6. The oil, water temperature, and alternator warning lights would all be replaced by a single ‘This Car Has Performed An Illegal Operation’ warning light.

7. The airbag system would ask ‘Are you sure?’ before deploying.

8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna.

9. Every time a new car was introduced car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because none of the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car.

10. You’d have to press the ‘Start’ button to turn the engine off.

Windows XP, Format USB Drive – NTFS

By default Windows XP will only allow you to format your USB drive with the FAT or FAT32 file system. With a bit of tweeking you can format it with the NTFS File System.
